We resume our speaker meetings at the Dunwoody Nature Center on September 18, 2023, beginning with one of the funniest garden experts around. Social time begins at 6:30 pm and Scott Beuerlein's talk commences at 7:30 pm.

Scott will talk on "Making Landscapes that Matter, in which he "winds and wallows in and around all kinds of things, including art, evolution, genetics, history, food, wine, and more before tying all of it together with ideas that will help us create meaningful landscapes that appeal to our human nature and support our health and well-being."

October finds many of us slogging back into our garden to slap at mosquitoes as we rip out the tired remnants of our May and June plant buying sprees.  GPPA offers the perfect insect-free alternative activity: to hear one of the most engaging horticultural speakers around who is guaranteed to teach you something you didn't know.  On October 17, 2022, Dr. Patrick McMillan, the Director of the Juniper Level Botanic Garden will join us to speak on “Underutilized Native Plants and Their Role in Creating a Healthy Garden Ecosystem.”
